Gamze Konca is an Istanbul based architect & urban designer +independent filmmaker.

As an architect, she collaborated with NyJH Arquitectos from Madrid/Spain between 2008-2012
on several architectural projects. Since 2018 she has been working as an architect independently

and internationally. She is the founder of GK [e-studio], an international art&architecture platform.

As a filmmaker she has been working on different genres of films in addition to video-editing gigs.

She was invited as a Jury Member for Avanca International Film Festival’14 in 2014.

Currently, she is working as a part-time lecturer at Istanbul Technical University,

and Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul, Turkey.

Her artistic approach is based on the interval of architecture and cinema.

Her aim is to find new forms and use hybrid media to create multi-layered art forms.
